After finishing first in Group B of the seeding tournament, nl flag TLR.CoD4 was set to play de flag Team Thermaltake in their playoff match to determine the top 8 seeds for the upcoming LAN event, Crossfire Intel Challenge 7. It was surely a though task and a good practice for the event itself. Result can be read below.

nl flag TLR.CoD4 16:14 de flag Team Thermaltake

mp_strike

nl flag TLR.CoD4 13:7 de flag Team Thermaltake

With that victory our side confirmed their spot in high seeds, dodging many of the well established and recognized teams who would surely mess anyones plans.

Tournament format was created for 48 teams, but seems like 2 teams will not attend but format will remain the same. 8 groups of 6 teams with only first 2 passing to the playoffs. Playoffs are played in BestOf3 format without losers bracket, which means seedings and crossing the groups in the playoffs is of huge importance to every passing team.

nl flag TLR.CoD4 was placed in Group B along with:

it flag OX Gaming

eu flag Team Infinite

pl flag Universal Soldiers

cz flag eSuba

uk flag Reclusion

A considerably easy group if you take into account that se flag Fnatic was mid seeded. However that does not make job of our guys any easier. All these teams, amongst 40 other ones have a desire to prove everyone wrong and pull out something unexpected. There is no question that everyone will put 120% effort in this LAN to make it successful and memorable for themselves and the community.

Tournament schedule has also been announced. Our Call of Duty 4 squad is set to play their first match on Friday at 14:00 and the second one at 14:45 CET. Remaining 3 matches shall be played on Saturday at 12:00, 12:45, 13:30 CET. More information can be found on tek9, link below.
