We're only 3 weeks away from a tournament that will surely change the Call of Duty 4 scene as nothing else did before. Call of Duty 4 got back to Crossfire Challenge series after a somewhat poor response to the last 2 sequels of these series. This time, a top limit of 48 teams was hit and signups were closed. After such a positive shock, community is looking forward to the summer of 2010, which will hopefuly reincarnate the summer of 2008 where big cash prizes were in the game.

Our Call of Duty 4 section will take part in this amazing LAN, together with other 47 teams coming from all around the Europe and even 1 North-American contestant. Seeds are gonna be determined through the seeding cup, which is in progress as some teams played their matches. Seeding cup is in the courtesy of eSports Heaven. I also caught up with TLR.CoD4 captain, Roy "obama" Godschalk and asked him a couple of questions.

Q: What do you think of your group (group B)?

A: I think we have one of the hardest groups in this seeding tournament. I am still happy as most of the teams are from the benelux because we're familiar witht their playstyle. I'm not so happy about playing in the same group as HWA because they all play with 120 ping and they never die online. We do realise that DOK. Corgz, HWA and even gamelimited and emphaty are all capable beating eachother. From what I just heard gamelimited beat both DOK and HWA so thats quite a big suprise already. At the end of the day I think that with our experience and teamplay we should be able to beat all the teams in our group and finish first.

Q:Do you think the seed you will reach in this tournament will affect the lan at all?

A:Yes I'm sure it will affect the LAN because it's really important to avoid the big teams in the beginning because the lan is using the single elimination format.

Q:You didn't practise a lot what's the reason of this and will it affect your seeding tournament?

A:We didn't play since the ESH cup because mean is in Centerparks with his parents and he's coming back on friday. Of course I hope that it wont affect our seeding tournament but a lot of teams are playing 24/7 so I hope we have some practise games before we play our real games.
