Call of Duty 4 scene is back on it's track after a short break over the Christmas holidays. The new cup on the block in the eSports Heaven series is Sapphire Challenge, with a 500€ cash as a reward for a winner. 128 teams entered the cup and fought their way through single elimination bracket.

Eagerly anticipating the mentioned cup, TLR.CoD4 squad has put some practice going and they stormed through the first couple of rounds. Then the things got rough. Or at least I thought so when I found out that their next opponent is iG former DiamondZ team who did well on TEX09 placing in top8 as an underdog. But they proved to be no match for our guys as they got 13-3'd on mp_crash. Next match was semi-finals against famous British side, Dignitas who recently totaly revamped their lineup which now consists of the finest British players. Sadly, due to lack of concetration on closing down some rounds, our side lost by 13-6 on mp_citystreets.

Although finals haven't been played yet, TLR.CoD4 earned their 3rd-4th standings and that will surely affect the seeds for the seeding tournament of one of the largest Call of Duty 4 tournaments to come, Crossfire Intel Challenge 7.
